Jim Duffy has over 20 years’ experience in the digital technology sector, helping businesses use emerging technologies to solve problems and drive sustainable growth. Jim believes that AI/Machine Learning, IoT and Distributed Ledger Technology (aka Blockchain) will be ubiquitous in business by 2022, bringing value that is not possible through manual, disconnected data management methods.
Jim led teams at MongoDB and worked at Oracle, one of the world’s largest technology companies. Jim also spent over 10 years at BNP Paribas where he was responsible for global data and analytics.
Based in London, Jim is currently leading the development of Tracr. Tracr is an innovative, diamond industry focused Internet of Value platform developed for the industry, by the industry. Tracr is connecting the diamond industry by establishing provenance, authenticity and traceability throughout the entire value chain.
